The NYCFC Boys Academy offers many ways for talent identification, both from within and outside the organization. Our Recruitment Team works in conjunction with internal departments, local clubs, schools, and soccer leagues to develop a network of partnerships, talent identification programs, and tryouts. This collective effort ensures the discovery of the best talent who will proudly represent the NYCFC Boys Academy.
Youth Programs
Players have the opportunity to be scouted by engaging in a range of our Youth Programs events, including Camps, Clinics, and Talent Centers.
Our Youth Programs coaches are actively urged to refer any promising players to our dedicated Recruitment Team.
A considerable cohort of players has successfully transitioned from our Talent Center Program to the Boys Academy.
Talent IDs
Throughout the year, several Open Talent ID events are scheduled across the region.
These are one-off events that allow our Recruitment Team and Academy coaches to view players.
Interested players should sign up below to receive information once events are scheduled.
Scouting Games
Throughout the youth soccer season, our Recruitment Team scout youth soccer games and tournaments to identify players for our Academy.
It's important to note that these games are not publicly announced prior to our attendance.
